Firearms
Hanford Patrol has some of the best marksmen in the country. The Hanford Patrol's Pistol and Rifle Team has garnered numerous trophies at local, state, national and international competitions. Because of their expertise, they have compiled an extensive history of providing weapons training to local, state, federal, and international law enforcement personnel.

Defensive Tactics
The Hanford Patrol Defensive Tactics training program encompasses the full spectrum of the DOE use of force continuum and provides a variety of modern day techniques and options that are valuable to law enforcement, military, and security agencies. Hanford Patrol Training Academy (PTA) instructors are federally commissioned and have an extensive history of providing Defensive Tactics training to local, state, and federal law enforcement personnel. The HAMMER/Hanford Patrol organizations have excellent facilities for defensive tactics training.

SWAT
Using the PTA's 360 degree live-fire shoot house, military style obstacle course, tactical ranges, fitness facilities, and the HAMMER facility, the Hanford Patrol SRT team is one of the most highly trained forces in the nation. The Hanford SRT team has garnered numerous awards in local, state, and national tactical competitions. Because of its subject matter expertise, Hanford Patrol has compiled an extensive history of providing tactical training to local, state, federal, and international law enforcement personnel.

Hydrogen
Hydrogen is at the forefront of the Nation's efforts to reduce its dependency on foreign oil. Federal, state, and private entities are working diligently to develop, validate, and implement new hydrogen technologies to meet the challenges of a national infrastructure. In concert, HAMMER and its partner the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), under the direction of the U.S. Department of Energy Hydrogen Program, are working to develop hydrogen safety training for the Nation's first responder workforce, which will be called upon in the event of an incident involving hydrogen.

Fire Operations
HAMMER offers a wide range of hands-on fire fighting training and education courses to meet today's fire service needs; including technical rescue skill building, hazardous materials response, emergency medical response, and weapons of mass destruction response.
